Welcome to Pop Studio Art, the online store for original works created by international contemporary artists. We are the online platform for an established gallery in Soho, New York City which opened in 2000.
We specialize in unique art and also offer some limited edition art which is obtained directly from artists who work exclusively with us. They have shown in galleries in major cities and won several awards.
In addition, we have some contemporary and modern masters art comprising authentic graphics, ceramics and original pieces. These secondary market works change, so contact us directly for anything you are interested in acquiring by an artist that is not on display. If we don’t have it we will try to direct you. Current works include lithographs, etchings, ceramics and mixed media editions.
We have a member of the International Fine Art Appraisers (IFAA) since 2004, who works closely with us and guarantees the authenticity of every piece we sell. Every work sold includes a dated, stamped and embossed appraisal.
We are experienced and secure, having sold and shipped our artists’ work, fully insured, all over the world.
Our contemporary artists have been selected for their professional maturity and the powerful identity of their work. Pop Art Studio shows a selection, some of which can be viewed in galleries, but much of which is exclusively available at our online store.
Our artists are always developing some series of works to encourage people to learn about and acquire their own collections. We are proud to present these new pieces which are all created by hand of the original artists, reflect their style and each is unique. Oftentimes these are versions of the gallery art or are presented using different media. Alternatively these may be development pieces, series and colors that have not been sold in galleries and this is reflected in the price.
To ensure that the relationships between our artists and galleries remain harmonious we apply the same price (and discounts) online as the retail price. For this art, we pack, ship and insure free to the lower 48 and collect Sales Tax in New York only. We are experienced in shipping globally, so please contact us for international delivery quotes.
For works exclusive to Pop Studio Art we keep prices as low as possible to make them accessible to art lovers. We sometimes sell out of particular items either because they are limited series or in high demand. Since all work is made by the artists themselves, it may take several months for new art to be created. Please send us your request and we will contact you when new art arrives.
When a limited series is sold out, the artist might change the work to create a second version, maintaining the essence of the first whilst being different. All our artists are also experienced at creating custom work. We do not duplicate original works.
We have developed exclusive relationships with our core contemporary artists over the past 25 years and have extensive experience in working with individual clients, private collectors, interior designers and galleries to develop custom pieces and new series of art. Generally custom colors of pieces from editions do not cost more.
We understand that the art world can be extremely complex and there is no single model for selling art. We seek to reveal some of the mysteries and simplify the process, but we are always available to answer email questions.
We assign a liaison to coordinate between the clients and artists, write a brief, set a timetable and deliver on time. There are no additional charges for this service. We collect a 50% deposit on confirming a contract. Please contact us for specific inquiries.
